Stewardship – A Way of Life

Holy Spirit Parish functions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Masses, Baptisms, Funerals, Rosaries, Visitation of the Sick, Clothing and Food Drives, Ministries to Jails and Hospices, Flyers and Bulletins, Flowers and Decor, Finances, Hospitality, Maintenance and Repairs, and Administration.

How does it all come together; from one mass to the next, from one event to the next? Through “Stewardship”; volunteers giving of their time and talent and filling their lives with God’s grace and love.

At Holy Spirit, as in every Parish, there are many more opportunities for stewards in the  church and “Community” than there are volunteers.   The Stewardship Commission is out to change all that.  Our goal is to encourage and assist every Parishioner in being God’s stewards.

The Stewardship Commission is comprised of the following members:

- Enrique Gallegos
- Ruben Garcia
- Corliss Nesbitt-Reed
- Martha Ryland

It doesn’t matter if you have an occasional hour or two per month or 5 hours per week; there is an opportunity that will fit your “time and talent”.   The following links can give you more information on each of the areas for possible stewardship opportunities.

This information attempts to inform parishioners of the ministries, councils, committees, and organizations that make it all come together for Holy Spirit Parish.   For further information, contact the parish office at 253.859.0444, or email Norm Bailey at NormBailey@kofckent.org
