ORGANIZATIONS

Catholic Singles Group

                Holy Spirit Singles is a support group for single Catholics who have experienced the loss of a marital relationship through death, divorce or separation.  Also, single-never married are included.  Group provides access to network of various social and informational activities for Catholic singles throughout the archdiocese.  Meeting dates vary so please check the parish bulletin or call the Parish Office.

Knights of Columbus

            Members meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:30 pm in Parish Activity Center.

Mother Mary Guild

            Members meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm in members’ homes for social activity and service projects.  Guild projects have included:  Parish spaghetti dinner, hosting Sunday Hospitality, help with preparation of Christmas Stockings for homebound parishioners, hosting of First Eucharist reception and bake sales.  New members are always welcome.

Mothers & Others

            Members meet twice monthly on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 9:30 to 11:30 AM in the Parish Activity Center.  Childcare is provided.  Mothers & Others is a faith-based organization for parents and caregivers of infants and young children.  Expectant Moms are also welcome. The goal is to build friendships and support one another through social events, educational opportunities, and service to the larger community.  A broad variety of programs and projects are planned.

New Connections

            No experience required! You only simply need to have the desire to serve, enjoy working with people, and can give three hours in the morning or afternoon, one or two days a week.  The program is designed to help ex-offenders transition back into the community.

St. Vincent de Paul Society

            The aim of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is to relieve human suffering.  Members go out in pairs to visit and aid the needy through material assistance and emotional and spiritual support.  The Society meets once a month after the 8:30 am Mass.  Training and support are provided.
